New Commercial Customers

Buildings with gas (gas equipment are installed):

Please call the Customer Connection. The call is toll free when called from within our service area. Please call us five business days prior to the date you are requesting the start of service. We cannot guarantee a start in service for calls made less than 48 hours before the date requested. At the time you call, we will notify you of any deposits or turn on fees that may be required.

To turn on service, please have the following information available when calling:

  • Name of business
  • Street address of the business
  • Billing address and Accounts Payable contact name
  • Contact name and phone numbers
  • Date requested for turn-on of service
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number of owner

Buildings without gas ( a natural gas service line is not installed to the building or there is no gas equipment currently installed)

  • To check if gas is available at the building location; or
  • To have a gas service line installed; or
  • To ask about switching to natural gas

Contact our local Account Manager for the county where the building is located. You can e-mail the Sales Department at gasisnatural@aglresources.com. Be sure to include your name, address, phone number and the best time to contact you.

Existing Commercial Customers
Call the Customer Connection at 1-800-242-5830. Please call us five business days prior to the date you are requesting. We cannot guarantee a change in service for calls made less than 48 hours before the date requested.

To turn off service, please have the following information available when calling:

  • Account number
  • Address where service is to be turned off
  • New mailing address
  • Date requested for service turn-off

To transfer service within our service area, please have the following information available when calling:

For Old Address:

  • Account number
  • Address
  • New mailing address
  • Date requested for transfer of service

For New Address:

  • Name of business
  • Street address of business location
  • Billing address and department
  • Contact name & telephone numbers
  • Date requested for transfer of service
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social security number of owner
