June 7, 2006

UNION, N.J. – June 7, 2006 – Elizabethtown Gas, a subsidiary of Atlanta-based AGL Resources, recently named Lenny’s Plumbing and Heating Inc. of New Jersey as the 2005 HVAC Contractor of the Year for outstanding achievement in converting customers to safe, reliable natural gas for their home energy use.

“We have high standards for the contractors participating in our Natural Gas Advantage Program, and we’re proud to recognize Lenny’s Plumbing and Heating as a model in performance and customer focus,” said Don Carter, vice president of operations at Elizabethtown Gas (ETG).

Lenny’s Plumbing and Heating, based in Clark, was chosen as the 2005 HVAC Contractor of the Year from among 32 contractors participating in ETG’s Natural Gas Advantage Program. Founded in 1975 by Lenny Grieco, Lenny’s Plumbing and Heating was cited for outstanding performance in areas such as total share of program conversions and customer preference. Lenny and his employees pride themselves on being honest and reliable and producing quality work.

“This award reflects our commitment to a job well done and belief in placing the customer first,” Grieco said in accepting the award. “Elizabethtown Gas also supports our success through the Natural Gas Advantage Program, which helps us meet customers’ needs by making the conversion process even more affordable and convenient.”

The Natural Gas Advantage Program assists homeowners switching to natural gas heat with free heating evaluations and special rebates and offers. Homeowners participating in the 2005 program received a free furnace or a $500 boiler rebate.

“Natural gas is the most popular heating fuel for homes nationwide, and our participating contractors have an essential role in helping us meet customer demand,” said Gary Marmo, director of sales and marketing at ETG. “Contractors like Lenny’s Plumbing and Heating set the bar high for others in the business on the strength of their ability to satisfy customers.”

Marmo said the Natural Gas Advantage Program offer of a free furnace or a $500 boiler rebate has been expanded in 2006 with the option of 12 months free financing. For more information, interested homeowners can contact the Elizabethtown Gas rebate line at 1-800-611-0480.
