The Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program, brought to you by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP), offers “whole house” solutions to reduce both your energy costs and carbon footprint. By making home improvements that cut your home's energy consumption by 25%, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR will pay 50% of the upgrade costs, up to $10,000.

Your Steps to Energy Savings
- Schedule and complete your home assessment by calling New Jersey’s Clean Energy program at 1-866-NJSMART or by contacting one of their participating certified contractors directly. For a list of certified contractors, visit New Jersey's Clean Energy Program.
- Work with New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program to determine which measures suggested on your home assessment report qualify for Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program incentives and rebates. The suggestions made in the assessment may include steps to improve:
- carbon monoxide levels
- moisture
- indoor air quality
- air sealing
- insulation
- heating and cooling system efficiency
- Get the upgrades required to reduce your energy consumption by 25% or more.
- Claim your rebates from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program by calling 1-866-NJSMART and requesting a rebate application.
