Elizabethtown Gas receives approval on storm mitigation and system reliability program
Elizabethtown Gas, a subsidiary of AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS), received approval from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) to implement its ENDURE (Elizabethtown Natural Gas Distribution Utility Reinforcement Effort) program. The BPU authorization allows the company to invest up to $15 million over the next year to proactively protect and strengthen its natural gas distribution infrastructure and enhance communications capabilities during future extreme weather events.

Elizabethtown Gas to lower natural gas supply charge
Elizabethtown Gas, a subsidiary of AGL Resources Inc., has filed a petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to lower rates for residential natural gas customers. The proposed cost reduction, which is set to take effect on Oct. 1, 2014, will lower natural gas bills by approximately 10 percent next winter.
