AGL Resources names Brian MacLean President, Mary Patricia Keefe Vice President of Elizabethtown Gas

ATLANTA – Sept. 22, 2014 – Atlanta-based AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) today announced the promotion of Brian MacLean to president of its subsidiaries, Elizabethtown Gas (ETG) and Elkton Gas, and Mary Patricia Keefe to vice president, regulatory affairs and business support.  Both promotions are effective immediately.

MacLean has served as ETG’s vice president of operations since 2011. In his new role, he is responsible for the delivery of safe and reliable natural gas to ETG customers. In addition, he also will be responsible for assuring excellent service to customers, system growth and expansion, and community involvement among other duties.  MacLean succeeds the late Jodi S. Gidley, who served with great distinction as ETG’s president since 2007 and passed away recently.

MacLean has worked for ETG and its sister companies since 1994.  He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Prince Edward Island and is a graduate of NASA Electrical Engineering Technology Cooperative Education Program. MacLean serves on several civic boards in New Jersey.

“Brian brings deep experience, knowledge and drive to his new role,” said Hank Linginfelter, executive vice-president of AGL Resources. “He will ensure that Elizabethtown Gas customers and communities continue to be well served while supporting and leading our dedicated employees.”

Supporting MacLean in an expanded role will be Mary Patricia (Pat) Keefe as vice-president regulatory affairs and business support.  Pat has worked at ETG since 1980 and was most recently vice-president regulatory affairs.  She holds a bachelor degree from Douglass College of Rutgers University and a juris doctorate from Seton Hall University Law Center. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court.

“Pat brings a wealth of regulatory and business knowledge and skill to this role,” said Hank Linginfelter.  “She will support and complement Brian very effectively.”
