Improve your home’s energy efficiency with a FREE in-home audit, plus testing, repairs and upgrades completed all at no cost to you.

Program Details

The Home Weatherization for Income-Qualified Customers program includes a FREE in-home audit and health and safety testing from a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Participating Contractor who will identify improvements that can save you money on your energy bill and help make your home healthier, safer and more energy efficient. You could be eligible for installation of up to $6,000 in energy efficient upgrades and up to $1,500 in health and safety improvements.

During the audit, the contractor may also provide the following at no cost to you:

  • Showerheads
  • Faucet Aerators
  • LED Lightbulbs
  • Advanced Power Strips
  • Smart Thermostat

After the audit, the contractor will discuss the findings and recommendations with you. You’ll also receive a personalized report summarizing energy saving opportunities and then the contractor will return to install your selected measures.

Eligibility

  1. ETG account homeowner & renter customers
    Note: Renters are required to have landlord permission. Please complete the form below:

  2. Live in existing single-family home, townhome/condo or multi-family building with less than 4-units
  3. Heat your home with natural gas
  4. Combined household income between 250 – 400% of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines listed below:*

Note: Households that do not meet the income guidelines above but receive aid from any of the following programs: Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Lifeline, Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled (PAAD), Section 8 Housing, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Universal Service Fund (USF), Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or General Assistance (GA), may be eligible for the Comfort Partners Program.
