Elizabethtown Gas to unveil energy efficiency coloring book

UNION, N.J. – May 25, 2016 – Elizabethtown Gas is proud of its longstanding relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County. Collaboration between both organizations has strengthened support and resources for new and existing programs, reaching thousands of school-aged children.

Recently the children teamed up with the Elizabethtown Gas energySMART program to develop a coloring book that raises awareness of natural gas conservation and energy efficiency.

Elizabethtown Gas officials will unveil the coloring book at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, at their corporate headquarters, 520 Green Lane, Union.

The coloring book features the drawings of students, ages 6 to 17, and will be used at various events to artfully share tips on how to create a more energy efficient home.

“We are so grateful to Elizabethtown Gas, its president, Brian MacLean, and energySMART program manager, Susan Buck, for choosing our Elizabeth Club members to participate in this special project,” said Russell Triolo, chief executive officer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County. “It has been wonderful for our organizations to collaborate on a project that will reach children in the greater community.”
