PAGE Grant

The PAGE Grant is an annual assistance program designed to assist low-to-moderate-income households who are experiencing economic hardship and are struggling to pay their energy bills. The PAGE Grant benefits homeowners and renters who are not receiving USF or LIHEAP benefits. Eligible customers can receive up to $750 toward gas and $750 toward electric. Applicants must also be facing a crisis situation that includes a documented notice of overdue payment for gas, and have a history of making regular payments toward their utility bills. NJ Shares

NJ Shares provides a one-time grant to households experiencing a financial crisis and who do not qualify for federal or state assistance programs due to the household’s income. Program grant amounts can be up to $700 for heating source (natural gas and includes cooking gas as well as electric heat). To be eligible households must have a moderate or fixed income, demonstrate a temporary financial need and have a history of good-faith payments to their energy provider. Warm Neighbors & Veterans Program

Warm Neighbors is Elizabethtown Gas’s sharing program funded by contributions from customers. It provides a one-time annual grant of up to $450 to all eligible residential heating Elizabethtown Gas customers facing economic hardship. To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be within 201-400 % of the federal poverty level
  • Or are shut off for nonpayment
  • Or have documented excessive medical bills

Warm Neighbors Veterans Program

Warm Neighbors, an Elizabethtown Gas’s sharing program funded by contributions from customers provides Veterans who receive LIHEAP an additional $150. Veterans with an Elizabethtown gas bill may apply for this Grant at the intake agency where they are applying for LIHEAP.
