The PAGE Grant is an annual assistance programs designed to assist low-to moderate-income households who are experiencing economic hardship and are struggling to pay their energy bills. The PAGE Grant benefits homeowners and renters who have not received USF in the past 6 months and have not received LIHEAP in the last heating season. Applicants must also be facing a crisis situation that includes a documented notice of overdue payment for gas, and have a past history of making regular payments towards their utility bills. This program provides a one-time grant to moderate and fixed-income households experiencing a financial crisis who do not qualify for Federal and State assistance programs due to the household’s income. Eligibility is based on household size and income. NJ SHARES Grant amounts can be up to $700 for heating source (natural gas - including cooking gas and electric heat), and can be up to $500 for electric service. Grants must result in continuance and/or restoration of service. Applicants must demonstrate a temporary financial need and a history of good-faith payments to their energy provider. Warm Neighbors & Veterans Program
Qualified residential customers who meet income guidelines can receive a one-time annual grant up to $450, with no requirement to be paid back.
